John was Principal Keyboard Player of the London Symphony Orchestra for 25 years, as well as performing and recording with the BBC Symphony Orchestra, London Sinfonietta, English Chamber Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and many others. He has collaborated with renowned maestros including Boulez, Bernstein, Solti, Mehta, Haitink, Masur, Berio, Lutoslawski, Gergiev and Colin Davis and features on many important recordings. He has recorded hundreds of recitals for BBC Radio 3 and performed on dozens of major film soundtracks – perhaps most famously, Harry Potter and Star Wars.
